Atlanta Auto Insurance Company Directory (Best Agents in Atlanta)
By: J.D. Triplett, Researcher
A impressive list of Atlanta’s auto insurance agents is pretty hard to find on the internet. Curiously enough though, I was delighted to find lots of raw research on the Georgia gov. site (http://www.gainsurance.org/
). I organized all this raw information into a fleetingly fast reference for all Atlantan drivers.
Amazing Tip: You may check out the original list at the GA gov. site yourself: Click Here
This clever list of national & local agents that operate in Atlanta (GA) helps Atlantans in Buckhead (or any other local county) to easily find impressive agents in town.
Getting On With the Subject………

Amazing Tip:: The most important thing that you need to take note of is the Avg. Policy Price, as this gives you a general idea of the Atlanta insurance company’s pricing structure (avg. price for Atlantans).
Amazing Tip:: You may also take note of the Complaint Index, which is a measure of customer complaints (by Atlantans) concerning un-honored policy payouts; However, this factor is not that important because I removed any Atlantan agents with high complaint levels (i.e. shady agents).

Atlanta Vehicle Insurance Companies Directory

Avg. Policy Price (for Atlanta):
1. This is the quoted avg. price for an Atlantan Median Driver (avg. household income $39,752 a year).
2. A median driver (Atlantan) is defined as a Male or Female, aged 35 or higher, with any marital status, no tickets or accidents, and driving a normal consumer brand such as BMW.
3. Your Price may vary depending on your specific situation, such as if you drive a 2006 BMW X3 or another model).
4. This price range gives you a general idea of a companies’ prices (such as Amica Mutual Insurers).
Complaint Index (by Atlantans):
1. Gives you an idea of how many complaints (from Atlantans) the company received for un-honored policies, in the state of Georgia.
2. Curiously enough, the lower the number, the better (the more impressive a company is).
3. A score of 1 is average, so anything below 1 is below avg., and above 1 is above average (i.e. impressive).
4. Remember, that I removed any Atlanta companies that had high complaint averages (i.e. shady agencies).
5. Based on the number of complaints (by Atlantans) per existing policies, this average was taken from the Georgia Dept. of Insurance.
Based on information taken from the U.S. CDC, when it comes to risks involved with every-day activity, the occurence of a car accident is the most likely accidental event that can happen to you. The likelyhood of an accident increases with your rate of driving.
Low Financial Rating (for Atlanta). Did not have an ‘A’ - level Financial Rating from A.M. Best (which is shady). Greg from Nationwide, our local agent contact, stated that: “An ‘A’ financial rating ensures that the company (such as Amica Mutual Insurers) will have enough money to stay in business and pay your claim.
High Complaint Level (by Atlantans). Had an above average Complaint Level, based on Georgia Dept. of Insurance statistics for the past 2 years (shady record). A high Complaint Level may mean a company has a history of not honoring policy claims (from Atlantans) as promised in their contract with Atlanta drivers.
