Dallas Auto Insurance Company Directory (Complete List of Dallas Agents)
By: J.D. Triplett, Researcher
A excellent list of Dallas’s auto insurance agents is pretty hard to find on the internet. Interestingly enough though, I was joyous to find lots of raw research on the Texas gov. site (http://www.tdi.state.tx.us/index.html
). I organized all this raw information into a ultraquick reference for all Dallasite drivers.
Very Cool FYI: You may check out the original list at the TX gov. site yourself: Click Here
This brilliant list of national & local agents that operate in Dallas (TX) helps Dallasites in Addison (or any other local county) to easily find excellent agents in town.

Very Cool FYI:: The most important thing that you need to take note of is the Avg. Policy Price, as this gives you a general idea of the Dallas insurance company’s pricing structure (avg. price for Dallasites).
Very Cool FYI:: You may also take note of the Complaint Index, which is a measure of customer complaints (by Dallasites) concerning un-honored policy payouts; However, this factor is not that important because I removed any Dallasite agents with high complaint levels (i.e. deceitful agents).

Avg. Policy Price (for Dallas):
1. This is the quoted avg. price for an Dallasite Median Driver (avg. household income $36,403 a year).
2. A median driver (Dallasite) is defined as a Male or Female, aged 35 or higher, with any marital status, no tickets or accidents, and driving a normal consumer brand such as Toyota.
3. Your Price may vary depending on your specific situation, such as if you drive a 2001 Toyota Camry or another model).
4. This price range gives you a general idea of a companies’ prices (such as Allstate).
Complaint Index (by Dallasites):
1. Gives you an idea of how many complaints (from Dallasites) the company received for un-honored policies, in the state of Texas.
2. Interestingly enough, the lower the number, the better (the more excellent a company is).
3. A score of 1 is average, so anything below 1 is below avg., and above 1 is above average (i.e. excellent).
4. Remember, that I removed any Dallas companies that had high complaint averages (i.e. deceitful agencies).
5. Based on the number of complaints (by Dallasites) per existing policies, this average was taken from the Texas Dept. of Insurance.
On average, local doctors are sued for around $900,000, as a result of car accidents they cause. In contrast, a local teacher might only be sued for about half that amount.
Low Financial Rating (for Dallas). Did not have an ‘A’ - level Financial Rating from A.M. Best (which is deceitful). Dan from AIG, our local agent contact, stated that: “An ‘A’ financial rating ensures that the company (such as Allstate) will have enough money to stay in business and pay your claim.
High Complaint Level (by Dallasites). Had an above average Complaint Level, based on Texas Dept. of Insurance statistics for the past 2 years (deceitful record). A high Complaint Level may mean a company has a history of not honoring policy claims (from Dallasites) as promised in their contract with Dallas drivers.
