Los Angeles Auto Insurance Company Directory (Best Agents in L.A.)
By: J.D. Triplett, Researcher
A marvelous list of Los Angeles’s auto insurance agents is pretty hard to find on the internet. You might be interested to know though, I was jolly to find lots of raw research on the California gov. site (http://www.insurance.ca.gov/
). I organized all this raw information into a instant reference for all Angelino drivers.
Note This: You may check out the original list at the CA gov. site yourself: Click Here
This keen list of national & local agents that operate in Los Angeles (CA) helps Angelinos in Westwood (or any other local county) to easily find marvelous agents in town.
And for our next Topic……..

Note This:: The most important thing that you need to take note of is the Avg. Policy Price, as this gives you a general idea of the Los Angeles insurance company’s pricing structure (avg. price for Angelinos).
Note This:: You may also take note of the Complaint Index, which is a measure of customer complaints (by Angelinos) concerning un-honored policy payouts; However, this factor is not that important because I removed any Angelino agents with high complaint levels (i.e. conscienceless agents).

Avg. Policy Price (for Los Angeles):
1. This is the quoted avg. price for an Angelino Median Driver (avg. household income $42,667 a year).
2. A median driver (Angelino) is defined as a Male or Female, aged 35 or higher, with any marital status, no tickets or accidents, and driving a normal consumer brand such as Ford.
3. Your Price may vary depending on your specific situation, such as if you drive a 2004 Ford Edge or another model).
4. This price range gives you a general idea of a companies’ prices (such as Nationwide Insurers).
Complaint Index (by Angelinos):
1. Gives you an idea of how many complaints (from Angelinos) the company received for un-honored policies, in the state of California.
2. You might be interested to know, the lower the number, the better (the more marvelous a company is).
3. A score of 1 is average, so anything below 1 is below avg., and above 1 is above average (i.e. marvelous).
4. Remember, that I removed any Los Angeles companies that had high complaint averages (i.e. conscienceless agencies).
5. Based on the number of complaints (by Angelinos) per existing policies, this average was taken from the California Dept. of Insurance.
Did you know that 40% of car accidents occur due to drunken driving? Did you know that 30% of accidents occur due to speeding?
Low Financial Rating (for Los Angeles). Did not have an ‘A’ - level Financial Rating from A.M. Best (which is conscienceless). Neal from Allstate, our local agent contact, stated that: “An ‘A’ financial rating ensures that the company (such as Nationwide Insurers) will have enough money to stay in business and pay your claim.
High Complaint Level (by Angelinos). Had an above average Complaint Level, based on California Dept. of Insurance statistics for the past 2 years (conscienceless record). A high Complaint Level may mean a company has a history of not honoring policy claims (from Angelinos) as promised in their contract with Los Angeles drivers.
